Planning for Year 2017

Today marks the end of school term for 2016 but marks the beginning for next year. There were some new improvements on managing school assets especially on coding of the rooms and building of the school. The following file: mesyuarat-guru-bil-4-2016, contains the room codes for next year. Hope the SMKKM teachers and AKP will manage the rooms and classrooms better than this year.

Lean and and let go

I have been leaning too much on getting almost perfect outcome on any projects undertaken until a recent drastic event becoming a turning point of my life. I learn that excellent work becomes nothing compared to excellent health.

Well…it is a bit horrifying to learn that if the stress of work put its toll on your health. Now, I learn to let go of my perfectionism and be grateful with what I have now. I learn to appreciate my parents, my husband, my son, my brothers, my sisters, my nephews and my nieces. Take time off to rejuvenate my tired body and my stressful emotion. Get close with Allah s.w.t. and ask for his help to give me strength to overcome any obstacles. The most important is take life as it is and embrace life with your loved ones. Insya Allah…healthy body, mind and soul will put more millage to a meaningful life.

Planning for year 2016

Year 2015 is coming to an end which marks the beginning of a new year of 2016. At the end of the year, is also signalling for the teachers and staff to finalize work, submit reports and prepare planner for the  next year.
As to lend a helping hand to those who in the shoes of a planner this file of school days estimation, ANGGARAN HARI PERSEKOLAHAN 2016, seeks to set the right date and day for the school activities or programmes for SMK Kota Marudu, Sabah, Malaysia.

Penilaian Bersepadu Pegawai Perkhidmatan Pendidikan

“PTK digantikan dengan penilaian baharu yang lebih memfokus kepada elemen pembangunan kompetensi berasaskan gred dan jawatan serta mengambil kira keunikan pelbagai skim perkhidmatan. Untuk memastikan ia relevan, ketua perkhidmatan atau ketua jabatan diberi fleksibiliti dalam menentukan kaedah penilaian di dalam jabatan masing-masing berdasarkan garis panduan yang sedang disediakan oleh JPA”

Penilaian baharu yang disebut oleh YAB Perdana Menteri adalah dikenali sebagai Penilaian Bersepadu Pegawai Perkhidmatan Pendidikan atau singkatanya PBPPP ini akan dilaksanakan sepenuhnya bermula pada tahun 2015 ini.  Ianya berkonsepkan penilaian berasaskan tugas dan tempat bertugas (Job-based and Work Place).

SKPM 2010 Standard 4

Pencerapan merupakan suatu kaedah untuk meningkatkan tahap pencapaian guru dalam pembelajaran dan pengajaran. Ianya bertujuan untuk mengoptimumkan pencapaian guru ke tahap yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya.

Instrumen pencerapan dan pembelajaran Standard 4 SKPM 2010 mempunyai 12 aspek. Setiap aspek skor minimumnya adalah 1 dan maksimum adalah 6. Untuk melayakkan mendapatkan skor 6, skor 5 hendaklah dipatuhi semua aspeknya dan jika ada unsur inovasi baharu melayakkan ke skor 6. Jika skor 5 tidak dipatuhi, turun ke skor 3. Jika semua aspek di skor 3 dipatuhi naik ke skor 4. Jika aspek skor 3 tidak dipatuhi turun ke skor 1. Jika semua aspek skor 1 dipatuhi naik ke skor 2.

Idealnya guru hendaklah mencapai skor keseluruhan 90 peratus ke atas untuk melayakkan tahap cemerlang. Namun jika tidak dapat mencapainya, guru tersebut sebaiknya dicerap lebih lagi sehingga mencapai potensi cemerlang.

2015 Task Target / Penetapan Sasaran Kerja 2015

On 6 January 2015, the Principal had presented a standardized must have items in the target of task for 2015 for all teachers in our school. Basically, the targets should be categorized into at least five compulsory fields: 1. academics, 2. co-curricular, 3. students’ affair, 4. professional development and 5. networking. Additional field can be added according to the job description of each teacher for example specialized tasks such as supervisor, secretary, head of department, head of unit, head of subject and others. Pada 6 Januari 2015, suatu taklimat berkenaan sasaran penetapan kerja tahunan telah disampaikan oleh Tuan Pengetua. Beliau telah menentapkan satu standard yang patut digunapakai oleh semua guru di sekolah ini yang antara lain menetapkan semua guru sekurang-kurangnya mengkategorikan sasaran ke lima bidang utama: 1. kurikulum, 2. kokurikulum, 3. hal ehwal murid, 4. pembangunan profesional. 5. pemuafakatan. Tambahan bidang lain adalah berdasarkan senarai tugas khas seperti penyelaras, setiausaha, ketua bidang, ketua unit, ketua panitia dan lain-lain. Preparations for Ending the Year 2014 and Beginning of the year 2015

The school year-end holiday is approaching tomorrow which marks the end of the school term for this year 2014. It is a wistful but delightful ending for the beginning of the school break. I reckon bidding farewell to yesterday and saying hi to tomorrow is more optimistic approach in life. So, embrace what is coming and be prepared for tomorrow.

I have presented the preparations for ending the year of 2014 in terms of a checklist of tasks as fostering a culture for school closure or Budaya Tutup Sekolah. In addition, the preparation before school opens is also included in the presentation. Assessing and analyzing

It is the end of the school term signalling the need to hand in closing reports from every departments and units. Well, I might just put it directly as saying we need to analyze and assess the outcomes of our own doings. What did work out and what need to be improved on? Is there anything to be eliminated and forgotten?  Use the strategic planning tools like SWOT and SPeCT in making strategic plan for the next year. Get going and hand in the reports on time.
